Questions answered.

Last night's Meet Up has lead me to think a lot.

I personally don't think that's the point of those things, so I blame all you guys for this. You owe me, you bastards.

Huh? What the hell are you talking about? Did I miss something?

That's what the beer is for. Drink enough beer and you won't have the problem of thinking.

Well, clearly Keith didn't NEED his nuts attached to his body anymore...

Watch out, thinking can be habit forming!

XO, you can probably deduce what you missed by reading Keith's comment. *Run-on sentence alert!* But basically, there's a local blogger (Ambitious Fledgling, in case you were wondering who, and I certainly am not afraid to name names) that doesn't like me much (and I don't like her much either), even though we don't read each other's blogs (well, I didn't read hers until today...I can't say the same about her) thanks to a comment altercation that happened back in January. I pick at her inability to keep from peppering most of her comments with the use of "lol"ing at everything she or someone else says now and then, and she picks at me by posting commentary about me and what she thinks my life is like on her blog. (Which she then deletes, near as I can figure...) Last night, Spyder told me about how she's going through some rough times right now (spent some time at a mental hospital last week...this is something she posted on her blog, so I'm not divulging sensitive info, btw), and I just thought maybe I'd been a little rough on her, is all. H-Train asked me if I was going to extend the proverbial olive branch, to which I said "No" seeing as she's the one that attacked me in the first place, and I pretty much leave her alone since then, except for 2 comments I've made about her "lol" issues. My summation after the thinking I've done: she can have her issues - just like the rest of us. That doesn't give her the right to attack my integrity in her blog. So I'm kinda glad she's taken those posts down, it seems.

Oh, and Heather and Spyder and I made out with The D. Too bad you left so early!

How did the pioneers live without the drama of blogs!?

Spyder said...

I use LOL or hahahahahaha so you'll just have to deal with it. I think we all have issues. And need to not take things too seriously. If Fledgling spent any time with you she would realize that you have a good heart, and are opinionated (like the rest of us). I'm a raving Liberal Democrat & I like you (cuz you my biatch!). I've invited Fledgling to come to a gathering & I hope she does. Just as I hope Tony would. But we all know that Tony considers himself above us. I don't think Fledg does. I don't think he can handle all that fun we have.

Can't wait to see Chimpo & Logtar singing keri oki at the next one!

What can I say? I'm a girl that came with the drama built in. (I think we all did, if we can just learn to accept it, the same way XO needs to accept his need for anger/bitterness management classes...)

Far be it from me to try and extinguish a virtual conflict, I just want to point out that while years of working for a certain company gave me an ability to handle any attitude from asshole to whatever, not everyone had been put through a mill like myself. So if someone wants to put LOL's and smiley's in their comments I can live with that. It takes me a little more effort to tolerate people's insistence on using retarded blog names (I know all about privacy, still pisses me off)but I do it. I actually like her blog for it's innocence even if I am wrong, I like yours for all the bitching and moaning and detailed descriptions of your intestinal feelings, nobody does it better. That was my five rubles.

I appreciate Spyder's point. But I totally get what Twin is saying.

Discord sucks, though.

If 2 women bloggers can't settle a dispute with a few rounds of FOXY BOXING*. Well then the terrorist have won.

Well.. I stumbled across this post today.. I will just go ahead and apologize for the first argument.. I should not have resorted to what I did, I think I was just frustrated with the topic of discussion that day.

I really don't know you well enough to dislike you personally.

I was sooooooooo pissed when I first found this blog post.. I felt like.. Well..I'm sure glad I could be of some humor to your blog gathering, and perhaps I still do feel that way a little.

As for the "Lol'ing".. I laugh a lot.. that's just who I am. I do it in real life too.

Spyder said...

Fledgling- The laughing was at Faith (about her not liking LOL) not you. She's opinionated (like most of us). We all need to remember to cut each other some slack. Especially when times are tough. I laugh a lot too. It's the only way to go through life. Hope you can make it to the next Gathering.

Faith- Sorry for hijacking your blog for a second. Kiss, kiss, hug, hug.
